| Before you Book your Tandem Jump..... |
Some common sense information you might not know.....
In the summer, thunderstorms and bad weather are a reality...
- Plan on 4 hours total time out here for your check-in, training, getting your turn on an airplane, the jump itself, the debrief, and the preparation of your video (if you bought video)
- Mornings are better for jumping. Afternoons could mean weather delays (and other delays) which mean more wait time.
- If it looks like rain or is raining, call us before you drive out here.
Are you too old, not physically fit or have some other medical/physical issue?
- Skydiving is not for everyone. Call us if you are not sure and discuss with one of our staff members. We have a good article about your health and ability to jump here>>
The days are shorter in the winter months.
- We do not recommend arriving any later than 3pm, even though we do jump to sunset. If you are unsure about how busy we are, etc, then just give us a call - we will be glad to advise you.
Can I come out after 4pm?.
- Maybe. Call us (813) 783-9399 to be sure. Long days in the summer mean we can likely fit you in before sunset, but generally we do not make reservations past 4pm.
Weekdays are not nearly as busy as weekends
- Weekdays are the best times to come out to get lots more personal attention.
Saturday is generally the BUSIEST day we have.
- Everyone wants to come out Saturday afternoon, and if you come out then, you could be here for hours.
- For example - If you book in the morning and arrive at 8am, you will quite possibly be on the first or second aircraft load and be out of here and done by 10:30-11:00am
- If you book for 1pm on Saturday afternoon, you could very well be here until 5pm. If there are weather delays, even later. Plan on 4 hours out here if you plan to come out on a weekend afternoon.
- If you cannot make it before 2pm, we suggest that you call us in advance and we can give you some good suggestions as to when to jump.
