Everyone must have a completed waiver on file.  We ask that you sign your waiver at least every year if you already have one with us.

You can download the waiver by clicking here>>.  You do need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this file, If you get errors or do not have it, then please go to http://www.adobe.com to download the latest reader version

  • You can complete one when you get here (takes the longest time in manifest)
  • You can print the waiver and bring it with you if you want. (saves some time)
  • OR better yet, complete the waiver and fax it to us at 813-783-2171 in advance. (saves a lot of time)
  • OR scan each page of your waiver and send the pages to info@skydivecity.com. (saves a lot of time)

Logbooks, Licenses, etc.

We will ask for your logbook, license and Membership in USPA or your own country's Sport Parachuting organization, i.e. CSPA, BPA, etc.

If you do not have an membership in any foreign organization, then we ask that you purchase a USPA membership, particularly for the liability insurance that it provides.

You can purchase a USPA Introductory Membership for $30, or a full membership for 1 year if you prefer.  More information is available at www.uspa.org.  If you do this in advance, please bring the confirmation with you as proof of your membership.

Dropzone Briefing

If you are unfamiliar with Skydive City, simply ask one of our staff for a dropzone briefing and we will be happy to show you around.  For convenience sake, we have even put it all into a complete Dropzone Briefing Document Here>>

USA Jumpers & Your Gear

Your gear will need to be inspected when you arrive and that can be done at the Paragone Rigging Loft when you check in.  You rig will be tagged.  If you need a reserve repack, try ot get that done ahead of time, or you can contact Paragone in advance for arrangements at 813-779-0239 or sally@tunnelcoach.com

Foreigners Using Foreign or US-made Gear

Foreign and non-TSO gear is welcome as long as your gear is certified in your home country for use.  The FAA (not the dropzone) has specific rules about reserve repack cycles and the use of foreign and TSO'd US-made gear jumped by foreigners.

In plain English, if you are a foreign jumper, and you are using foreign, non-TSO'd gear, that is approved in your country, then your country's rules will apply.

If you are a foreign jumper, and you are using TSO'd gear, even if it is not made in the USA, then the USA rules apply (180 day repack cycle).

Want to save any confusion?  Make sure your reserve has been repacked within 180 days of your trip here.

Jump Tickets

Buy your jump tickets in advance at our online store!  Blocks of tickets or individual ones.  We will have them waiting for you when you get here, or we can ship them to you.  Check it out at:

Need a Lift from an Airport?

Cheri Denn has agreed to handle the airport pickups for us.  Door to door service - $100 from Orlando, $50 from Tampa and $65 from St. Pete/Clearwater.  Less for the return trip if you use her service.  You can reach Cheri directly by email here>> and include your info:

  • Your full name
  • Date of pickup
  • Your Flight Info and connecting flight info
  • Airport of course
  • Mobile Phone number if you have one and your email

Cheri will contact you directly to make the arrangements.  We can do it for you as well if you contact the dropzone at 813-783-9399 or info@skydivecity.com

RV slots and Tent Camping

During the Boogies, we are almost always full.  Please call or email in advance to make sure we can fit you in.  Arriving without that may result in us not being able to find a slot for you.  We have specific tent camping areas, and specific RV slots.   Electric costs $15/day or $300/month.  Tent camping is free unless you need electricity, in which case, you have to park you tent in one of the RV slots and pay the same as the RV's

Health Department regulations and rules require that we ask you to camp in specific places on the dropzone.  Please check in at the office before you 'set up'.  If you do not, we may have to ask you to relocate to a more appropriate location.  Thanks for the understanding.

We'll see you when you get here!  any questions?  Call or contact info@skydivecity.com
